I needed to replace my Silent Gliss Autoglide Electric Curtain Tracks and sourced Discount Electric Curtains on line. I first ordered from them in August 2018 finding the company extremely helpful when I initially telephoned to check on a small point re measurement which they clarified before I completed their excellent on line ordering form. My track duly arrived on the expected delivery date. Unfortunately on inspection the track had been damaged in transit! I telephoned Discount Curtains who asked me to photograph the damage and email them the picture. No problem. A courier collected the damaged track and it was swiftly replaced with a new one. VERY good service! In 2020 I ordered another very much larger track. Once again it arrived on the specified date (perfectly packed this time!) and both sets of curtains are working perfectly. Electrically operated curtain tracks are a really good security feature to have. They are brilliant at making a house look occupied at all times whether it is or not - a light can come on - then after a while the curtains automatically close. In the morning they open again. You set the operating times as you wish. They move really quietly and are very reliable. Furthermore the price from this company is extremely competitive. I would strongly recommend Discount Electric Curtains to anyone needing this product.

I purchased a Gliss automated curtain system from discount electric curtains and from ordering to installation everything was as simple as could be. The team helped me measure the angles for my bay window and installation couldn't be simpler - I just wish I had opted for the smart hub system. The best bit - every evening when I close the curtains my toddler says 'magic curtains'! Am so happy with the product and service I am now about to buy my second rail for another room.

Dear Sirs I installed an automatic curtain pulling straight rail approx. 3M long branded Silent Gliss Autoglide. The service from Discount Electric Curtains and the product were completely satisfactory. I have in the past fitted powered curtain tracks which required cutting to length on site and I appreciated the made to measure service which avoided large amounts of time expended on site fitting standard rails to particular windows not to mention obviating my assembly errors. The web site of Discount Electric Curtains concerning specification of the type and dimensions of the required rail was clarity itself and allowed me to order with confidence that the goods delivered would do the required job "out of the box" and suit the installation site. I appreciated the web site's straightforward manner in dealing with "left and right" hand aspects of specifications and how to handle clearances. The rail, motor, and controls were of high quality and have functioned reliably without attention after commissioning. The goods were delivered by a competent carrier in adequate packaging, bearing in mind that the rail by its nature is a awkward shape to transport. I recommend Discount Electric Curtains.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Discount Electric Curtains – DEC-, both pre and post sales. At first I was a very dubious about undertaking such a purchase online as things do not always work out and not what they seem, so purchased one Silent Gliss 5100 track. Having fitted and got it operational, I need not have been. I bought another one straight after as I was very satisfied with the product and confidence in DEC. I was very pleased with the delivery of the tracks; well packaged and contained all the fittings/instructions necessary. I did have difficulty with the timer instructions in that the print was very small and I did not find them particularly clear, however after contacting DEC all became clear and sorted. It has been a delight to deal with Sharon and Chloe at DEC, nothing is too much trouble. I have found the automated curtain tracks to be another security measure, particularly when away from the house with automatic lights (pre coved-19 days).

I love these electric curtains, it makes life even easier, no more asking my kids or husband to close the curtains in the evening, I just press the button and it closes or open - great!

Perfect! Buying and delivery was a dream, no problem at all. Electric curtain rail has changed my life, for some reason I never enjoyed pulling curtains to open and close them. Now, from the other side of the room I press a mobile remote and "hey presto" curtain open and close at my command...a real pleasure. Its the simple things in life which make me happy.
