The Silent Gliss Autoglide 5100 range features complete electric curtain track kits, operated by a selection of different controllers, depending on the model. All four models are available to buy on this page.
They are the smoothest and quietest electric curtain tracks available. They are used extensively throughout the world in some of the top hotels, establishments and private homes.
They are extremely robust and come with a 5 year warranty as standard.
The Autoglide 5100 range is mains powered, can be up to 6 metres long and is supplied with a 5 metre cable and fitted UK plug.
You can hang standard curtains on the track or you can buy special Silent Gliss "Wave" curtains that always hang in a professional-looking, uniform manner.
We make your Autoglide tracks to your measurements, and they can be bent at the time of manufacture to fit into bay windows. We have an easy way of working out all the angles for a perfect fit.

As well as the control options listed below, each model has a new feature called "Touch and Go", where a small tug on the fabric of the curtain will start the motor to fully open or close your curtains.
Autoglide B
The 5100B comes with a wireless switch to open and close your curtains, and features a wall-mountable base. The switch can be removed from the base and used as a remote, then returned to the wall-mount for safe keeping. The wall mount is usually put next to your main light switch or favourite chair, so you always know where the controller is.
Autoglide R
The 5100R also comes with the wall-mountable switch, as well as a dedicated wireless remote, for keeping in easy reach or on the coffee table. The remote is slightly larger than the wall switch to make it easier to hold in your hand.
Autoglide T
The 5100T comes with the wall switch and with a wireless, programmable timer unit. You can set your curtains to open and close automatically without you having to take any action or even be in the house. This makes the timer perfect for security when you're away.
Autoglide TC
The 5100TC comes with all control options, so you get the wireless wall switch, the remote control and the timer unit.
Controlling Multiple Tracks
Each supplied controller controls a single "channel". If you plan on having multiple electric curtain tracks, you can obviously control them independently with their own controllers.
If you have more than one electric curtain track and set them all to the same channel, a single channel controller will control all of the curtain tracks, but they will operate all at the same time, rather than being able to operate them independently.

The Autoglide 5100 can be manually overridden in the event of a power cut.

You will receive a complete electric curtain track kit, with track, fixing brackets, motor, the controllers for the model you choose, 5m power cable with fitted UK mains plug and full fitting instructions.
Extra items that you need:
- Curtains (unless you are buying some from us here)

- Rawl plugs or other fixings suitable for your wall or ceiling
- Screws
N.B. Any of the controls can be purchased separately in the future and added to your system. It is all compatible and you are not limiting yourself by the choices you make now.
Tracks are supplied for you to install yourself.
Your track(s) will be supplied fully assembled and made to your exact measurements. Minimal DIY knowledge is required, you only have to fit the supplied brackets that hold the track. The system comes with a 5m cable and a fitted UK mains plug so no electrician is required.
Important Note - Curtain Hanging
Please note that curtains should be hung so the top of the curtains are below the profile of the track. If the tops of the curtains protrude up and cover the track, it may impede the motor and affect the operation of the system and possibly affect the warranty.
If you have a shaped window, such as a bay window, the track can be bent for you during manufacture.
The 5100 can be bent up to two times, or have one long, continual curve. This is suitable for most 3-pane bay windows. If more bends are required, either consider multiple tracks, or take a look at the Silent Gliss 5600 Electric Curtain Track which can be bent as many times as required.
Simply select the "bending" option when designing your track. We will be in touch to ask you to take a few specific measurements in order to make sure your track fits perfectly.
Wave Curtains

Wave technology makes your curtains always hang in a professional-looking, uniform wave. It's the secret of high-end installations and is now available for your home.

Silent Gliss Fabrics
The fabrics we offer for curtains are Silent Gliss' own, specifically designed and refined for this application.
We currently offer fabrics from their two most popular groups, Colorama 1 and Colorama 2, which have both vivid and more toned-down colours to suit any application.
- Colorama 1 is slightly thinner and therefore more transparent than Colorama 2.
- Colorama 2 is thicker and lets less light through.

Are your Autoglide Curtain tracks 100% authentic Silent Gliss?
Unlike most of our competitors who either assemble Autoglide tracks themselves or buy them assembled from companies other than Silent Gliss, our tracks are manufactured by Silent Gliss directly and sent straight to your door, so you can be assured of the build quality.
Can the Silent Gliss Autoglide 5100 track be bent for use in a bay window?
Yes! The Autoglide electrical curtains tracks can be bent up to twice per track to a minimum radius of 250mm for an additional cost. Just tick the box for bending on the order page and we'll get in touch to go through the measurements with you once the order is placed.
Is the "Length of Track" requested on your Autoglide price calculator inclusive of the motor?
Yes, the track is the same size with or without the motor as it hangs down behind the track, so please enter the full length of track you require. We recommend taking off 1cm if going in a recess for a good fit.
Do you supply these Autoglide electric curtains with hooks? If not, which curtain hooks are recommended?
Standard curtain hooks work perfectly well with the track and there is no specific hook recommended. Hooks are not supplied with the tracks.
How long will it take to receive my Silent Gliss electric curtain track order?
On average, just 5 working days for your automated curtains track to be made to your custom measurements and shipped out to you (approx. 7 working days for bent electric tracks). Where curtains are ordered with tracks, the lead time will be approximately 20 working days and the track and curtains will be delivered together.
What happens if the electric curtains track is found to be scratched or damaged when it is unwrapped?
When initially signing for the items, if the boxes look damaged, please sign for them damaged or send them back. If the packaging looks fine and when you open up the product is damaged then please contact us on 01543 279996 and we will organise the product to be picked up and a replacement sent. The Silent Gliss Autoglides come with a 5 year warranty.
How much does delivery cost for the Autoglide motorised curtain system?
Delivery of tracks and curtain rails to addresses in the UK Mainland are completely free (excluding Northern Ireland). The price you see on this website is the price you pay.
Can the electrical curtain tracks be operated manually in the event of a power cut?
Yes, the Autoglide 5100 tracks can be manually overridden in the event of a power cut.
Do you offer any other colours than white?
The Silent Gliss curtain tracks are only made in white at the moment. They currently have no plans to manufacture any different colours.
What weight curtains can these tracks support?
The Autoglide 5100 series can support up to 25kg if straight, up to 15kg if bent. 25kg includes most light to medium weight domestic curtains.

If you order curtains too, these can take up to 20 days and everything will be delivered together.
